    Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin JianChina on Friday urged Japan's leaders to listen to calls from lawmakers and other figures for improving bilateral relations, after reports said Japanese lawmakers from both ruling and opposition parties plan to visit China next week and said the current state of China-Japan relations is not in the interests of either side and they hope to play a role in improving bilateral ties.
China has taken note that some insightful figures from Japan's ruling and opposition parties are deeply concerned about the current state of China-Japan relations and hope to make efforts to put bilateral ties back on the right track, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Friday.
"We urge those in power in Japan to listen to and attach importance to these voices, abide by the principles set out in the four political documents between China and Japan, and take concrete actions to create the necessary conditions for normal exchanges between the two countries," Lin said.

“我们世界的症结并非孩子太多，而是自私、消费主义和个人主义让人们感到满足于自我封闭与不幸福，”他指出，家庭中宠物与物质的堆积正逐步取代孩子的笑声，让许多家庭变成了“满载物品却空洞无童声的悲伤之地，宠物或许不缺，唯独缺少了孩子的欢笑。”

这位87岁的教宗鼓励年轻人怀抱希望，勇往直前。“我理解，在出生率下降、战争、疫情和环境变化的阴影下，未来对你们很多人而言显得动荡不安，保持乐观并不易。

他还批评了军备和避孕产业，指责这些行业分别破坏与阻碍生命，指出：“一位人口学家分享给我一个惊人的事实：现今最盈利的投资领域竟是军火工业和避孕产品。一方终结生命，另一方则阻止生命诞生……这样的未来何其黯淡。这景象让人痛心疾首。”
